ClearedJobs.Net now has the tools its customers comply with
the Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs' (OFCCP)
Internet Applicant final rule. The rule sets forth the definition
of "Internet Applicant" and related record keeping
and tracking requirements.
ClearedJobs.Net now has the solution that is designed to
help our federal contractors abide by their organization's
compliance policies, while having the ability to maintain
control of the data. This solution is intended to be adaptable
to fit a wide variety of data management, collection and retention
procedures.
Our goal is to offer a solution that can be incorporated
into the hiring practices of every customer who needs it.
However, as with any system, the mere use of the ClearedJobs.Net
system does not ensure compliance with the new regulations.
It is ultimately the employer's obligation to seek legal advice,
follow its company policies for compliance, and use ClearedJobs.Net
services in such a way as to be compliant.
• Employer does a resume search and selects an active
job to run the resume search upon it (if necessary). If no
job was selected, then it will appear as a 'General Resume
Search'
• Employer views resume search results. Every resume
that the employer views will be stored in the database and
will be associated with the particular search above.
• Employers can view the detailed report of the resume
search, job, criteria and date under their account in the
OFCCP REPORTS section. The employer can click VIEW RESUMES
beside each search to view a snapshot of all resumes viewed
in a pop-up window. If the job seeker deletes their resume,
this snapshot will still be stored unmodified for OFCCP reporting.
• Employers can also run a search by date range. The
dates have error handling to make sure they enter a correct
date or they can enter either a FROM or TO date or none to
view all searches made.
Please consult your own legal and/or compliance department
for additional information on the OFCCP regulations, including
changes to your internal recruiting workflows and processes
that may be necessary to ensure compliance. Ultimately, government
contractors have the obligation to comply with the OFCCP regulations.
While ClearedJobs.Net is making these tools available to assist
contractors in their compliance efforts, ClearedJobs.Net will
not dispense legal advice on this matter, and use of the ClearedJobs.Net
tools does not automatically ensure compliance with the regulations.
There will be additional fees associated with the OFCCP product.
Please contact your sales representative for pricing information.
