We cannot advise you in this matter
because we do not know the specifics of your employment
contract. You will need to work with your security officer
on this matter and see if there is another contract
you can work on or to learn more about your options.
You may also want to check with the Human Resources
Department of your employer. Some of these issues should
have been addressed in your employment letter. Finally,
you may want to check with the Office of Personnel Management
of the Federal Government at www.opm.gov.

For information on the security clearance
process you can go to our website www.ClearedJobs.Net.
At the bottom of the page there is a Security FAQ. The
first place to start would be www.opm.gov,
which is the current agency overseeing the security
clearance process. Formerly it was the Defense Security
Service.
