Company Job Title: Capture Manager Chenega Job Title: Analyst III, Business Devel Clearance: Secret Location: Alexandria, VA Reports To: VP Business Development FLSA Status: Exempt Prepared Date: 04/19/2010 Approved Date: 04/19/2010 Summary Researching, targeting, and qualifying business opportunities and leads in line with the company's core competencies (linguists, logistics, Intelligence Analysis, IT, Engineering and facilities support) within the federal market (DoD, Intel Community) while working in close cooperation with indirect teams and various managers (i.e., Business Development, Programs, Finance, Contracts, HR and Proposal). Opportunity research and qualification part of business development cycle accomplished via existing customer base and personal contacts built over tenure as Capture Manager. Responsible for qualifying those leads with assistance from Business Development and Program Management and developing capture strategies, call plans, and focused presentations to prospective clients. Teaming with other businesses for specific opportunities is also part of the process. When opportunities result in RFPs, works closely with proposal development staff to develop responses to RFPs. Effectively plan and manage proposal efforts to win contracts. Responsibility for contract wins and losses and is responsible for overcoming any obstacles that stand in the way of a contract win. Capture Managers are expected to perform the task and take active, hands-on, developmental roles in all facets of proposal development.
