Job Description

The candidate will develop andor maintain system Certification and Accreditation (Camp;A) documentation in a Federal Civilian Agency, including security plans, Information Assurance (IA), risk assessments, certification test plans and security test cases and evaluations using existing processes and procedures.Addtional responsibilities include: Conduct Certification and Accreditation in Federal Civilian Agency.Develop and complete security plans based on the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) Security Publications.Using risk management techniques develop and complete risk assessments based on NIST standards to ensure IA design sufficiently mitigates IA risk.Develop and conduct security tests and evaluations based on NIST 800-53A.Prepare certification analysis and reports and provide certification recommendations to the client. BS in Computer Information Systems or equivalent experience. Requires 8-10 years experience.Minimum of five (5) years ITtechnical experience including two (2) or more years of progressive information security experience with Federal Government projects.Minimum of two (2) years of hands-on experience in the following:Conducting security assessments and documenting the results using NIST 800-53A.NIST SP800-18 Guide for Developing Security Plans for Federal Information SystemsNIST SP800-30 Risk Management Guide for Information Technology Systems NIST SP800-53 Recommended Security Controls for Federal Information SystemsMust possess proficient written and verbal communication skills in order to effectively interact with clients.CISSP and SANS Certifications desired, but not required DESIRED: CISSP andor SANS certification.
