OMNITEC Solutions (http://www.omnitecinc.com) is seeking a Web Applications Developer for the large scale design, development, implementation, and integration of an Enterprise SharePoint Portal solution.
Required skills include:
- BS and 5+ years total experience with 2+ years of object oriented development experience with either ".NET" (Asp.net 2.0, or Ado.net) and/or C# (C Sharp);
- SQL Server 2005 capabilities to create tables, stored procedures, views and using reporting services to make custom reports;
- Full life cycle development skills are also key as our IT team members work closely with our clients and end users;
Helpful skills include:
- experience designing and developing with MOSS (SharePoint) 2007, with experience using SharePoint Designer, Visual Studio 2005, ShareParts, custom Workflows, custom web parts, and custom Application Pages;
- Knowledge of developing Word 2007 templates and integrating those templates into a SharePoint document library;
- Experience in Windows OS environment using XP and windows Server 2003;
- "Webmaster" experience for a particular web site(s) you may have maintained;
- Adobe Creative Suite (CS) 3.0 or 4.0, Flash, Photoshop, and Cascading Style sheets;
As these positions support the Intelligence community, US citizenship and an active Top Secret clearance is required, with the ability to obtain SCI access.
This position is located in Washington, DC (20535) and is Metro accessible.
